Sorry for bumping it so late. I am interested in booting up a snapshot
of an old machine on a newer one (hardware supports older windows 7)
without having to commit an entire partition. I have free space which I
can partition as NTFS. I am currently running Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish.
The disk is of GPT...
It doesn't work by following your instructions, just wonder how to bring
back the "Connect to ..." pop-up window, after selecting the "Save my
settings for future connection to this virtual mathine", 'cuz I really
need to add some extra settings. Many thanks if any help could be given.
Sorry, I know this is not on topic, but in the process of transferring
my certs, I stupidly deleted the shielded vm encryption certs on my
local machine thinking that I had not imported them correctly. Does
anyone know how to repair the certificates to resolve the "Guardian
"UntrustedGuardian" canno...
Unfortunately the "Edit Session Settings..." command doesn't actually
open the settings dialog, if you've chosen "Save my settings for future
connections to this virtual machine" -- it simply opens a new connection
window, not the settings dialog for the connection. This is on Windows
10 22H2.
