We are pleased to announce that the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 RC is now ready for the general public. This release adds support for the Dynamic Memory and RemoteFX capabilities in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 RC.
It is uploaded to Microsoft Connect now, so please download it and give it a try. To access the file:
Since this is a pre-release version, usage of this is limited to test environments. Customers are encouraged to ask questions via the SC VMM forums on TechNet. Feedback can be submitted directly to the product team via Microsoft Connect.
UPGRADE MATRIX: You can use this SP1 RC to upgrade from 2008 R2 and you will be able to upgrade from this SP1 RC to the SP1 RTM.
SCVMM 2008 R2 SP1 RC Self-Extracting Package
This package is a four part self-extracting file that contains the SCVMM 2008 R2 SP1 RC CD Image. Use this package to perform a full install of SCVMM 2008 R2 SP1 RC into your lab environment.
Note: All four parts are required.
