The Windows Embedded device manager platform is an add-on solution for Windows Embedded and System Center Configuration Manager 2007. This project is aimed at Organizations as well as OEMs to help manage their specialized devices. The TAP will focus on 4 device categories; Thin Clients, Point of Service, Hand Held Terminals and Digital Signs.
Nominations are now open. There are limited slots available, 8 per device category. Interest for selection is focused on existing enterprises that have specialized devices based on Windows Embedded. Nominations are open to Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. The nomination deadline is 8/23/10.
Requirements Enterprise partners must be using System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 with SP2 or above. The table below lists the supported Windows Embedded Operating Systems for each category.
