Service Manager Authoring Tool RC and Cumulative Update 1 Now Available

As some of you may have already seen on our Service Manager blog, two new releases are now available for our Service Manager customers:

• Authoring Tool v1.0 Release Candidate
• Cumulative Update 1 (KB983572)

Service Manager Authoring Tool v1.0 Release Candidate
New features in this English-Only release candidate include:

• Creation of new forms
• Management Pack sealing
• Detailed criteria in workflow triggers

The tool is available on Microsoft Downloads at :  http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=40b8f1b7-da63-46ae-9ca4-ef007fc3cb29&displaylang=en.  Installation instructions are within the Authoring Guide document that is included within the download package.

Service Manager Cumulative Update 1 (KB983572)
This is a rollup of fixes for System Center Service Manager 2010 and a pre-requisite for Service Manager Authoring Tool v1.0 Release Candidate.  You can download the update from Microsoft Downloads at :  http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1f864b54-fd95-4bb7-98c5-e66183875714&displaylang=en.  Full details and installation instructions can be found under KB Article 983572.
