I attended WOWZAPP 2012 at Pollachi.

I don't know how to develop Apps.I am eagerly waiting to learn about development of Apps.

But they told to submitted the apps..

They told how to uploaded the apps.But they did not told about development of Apps..

They didn't tell any scheduled correctly..

I thanked Microsoft for such program..But It not reaching the student.

Hello Everyone

I got a opportunity to be organizer and a proctor at Wowzaap Vijayawada Venue . There the event went on in very very positive mode.

Event was about 24hours and event started with Appfest theme song and people started code very excitingly and every 1 hour their will be calendar tear indication time (countdown 24-23-----1-0) and for every one hour the organizers made a event where it helped them to get entertained and it successfully it avoided everyone's sleep. We also had 24hours services like DJ,Food,Beverages,Entertainment,Technical Support and inmean while we also had Yoga session , Birthday celebrations for B'day babies , a camp fire to get out of strain their we had a 10 minute chill out with songs and dance.and not to forgot they were on appmode even we uploaded more than 200+ in which we got many quality apps ,many of them they cam forward and gave a quick demos of their app even. Everyone conveyed a thank for Microsoft and Acad teams for organizing such big event. College Management is also very very happy and conveyed their vote of thanks. Students and College people celebrated their happiness with fireworks at last.

I attended WOWZAPP at Vellore, India.

Its disappointing to say that it was a very bad experience :(

the 36 hour hackathon was reduced to a mere 5 hour thing without any notice because the host college had a holiday the next day.! We had travelled 30 hours for WOWZAPP and the host college insulted us badly.

Nothing was provided as given in the wowzapp website.

No t shirt, no bean bag, no unlimited music, no beverage at all, and just one meal!

The host college made up some cheap awards then and there. An ex-microsoft employee was supposedly the microsoft expert. and he was very poor too.

there was nothing to take back from a microsoft hackathon other than a certificate which has no microsoft logo even! It was one hell of an experience we all would like to forget! :(
