Hi -

We recently purchased a number of Dell NAS devices for use in our enterprise. Is it possible to sysprep the OEM version that is shipped with WSS2008 after we have created our base configuration, or are we stuck creating and using a huge installation and configuration guide.

I am trying to configure WSS2008 (from msdn download) as a hyper-v guest os and after the install there seems to be no network connectivity.

Could you point me to the proper direction on how to resolve this?

No, this version is a full-UI (non-core) version of Windows.

I did not get if this operating system has a gui like the normal windows server ,or it has to be configured by command line only......

Hi,

I am looking in to purchasing a Windows Storage Server. We use Tivoli for backing up our servers, from what I can tell Tivoli does not support SIS, but IBM does sell Window Storage Servers. Do you have any recommendations for how to backup a Windows Storage Server?
