I'm Scott Johnson, Program Manager for the Windows Storage Server product line. We have many cool things going on in the Windows Storage Server team that need to be talked about, so we decided to kick off this blog! For starters, here is a rundown

re: Welcome to the new Windows Storage Server blog!

Hi -

We recently purchased a number of Dell NAS devices for use in our enterprise. Is it possible to sysprep the OEM version that is shipped with WSS2008 after we have created our base configuration, or are we stuck creating and using a huge installation and configuration guide.

Thanks!

Could you point me to the proper direction on how to resolve this?

I am looking in to purchasing a Windows Storage Server. We use Tivoli for backing up our servers, from what I can tell Tivoli does not support SIS, but IBM does sell Window Storage Servers. Do you have any recommendations for how to backup a Windows Storage Server?
