Like James I wasn't able to get my hands on Halo3 yesterday due to being on the road. I managed to nip out at lunchtime today and pick up a copy though I'm now back @ the airport heading to Falkirk to meet the team in preparation for tomorrow's event.
It was interesting to note that a couple of major stores I tried had sold out of each type of XBox 360 as a result of the launch - they reported a rush in the last couple of days of people who'd held off buying consoles until H3 was out - I was one of them. I found my 360 Elite hidden away in an unpopular electronics store that didn't even look open - I bought their last one.
I was only able to play for a few minutes before rushing to the airport - I could have had a relaxing journey but killing bad guys (on my XBox!) put paid to that.
I have my copy of H3 with me so James and I will be ordering food into the hotel and refusing all offers of going somewhere nice for dinner!
I presume you've seen the MIT hack at http://hacks.mit.edu/Hacks/by_year/2007/halo3_john_harvard/ ?
The original Halo was the making of the original Xbox. It looked fantastic and sounded fantastic - spent
Nik> I haven't seen the MIT hack yet due to being on the road - thanks for sharing it
Am I the only person who doesn't have an XBox, XBox360, Playstation 2 or 3? And am I the only person who hasn't played Halo 1 or 2, let alone 3?? :)
