Don't worry. I haven't lost the plot! Microsoft's financial year runs from the 1st of July each year and that's also the point at which we set objectives for the coming year. I think it can be quite confusing when Microsofties talk about "next year" in May and June when they actually mean July. It's now Financial Year 2008 which is abbreviated to FY08.
I've decided to evangelise management technologies taking over from Eileen's lead. I will continue to evangelise the importance of Information Security and advise how best to take practical steps to reduce risk.
It's purely coincidence that I've been writing about Sharepoint more than normal recently too - it's just caught my interest that's all.
I must say though, I'm really finding it difficult to write "System Center" being a Brit but as it's the name for a huge umbrella of products I can't get away with spelling it "System Centre" ;-(
Pesky Americans and their spelling...
Perhaps as a techie you could get away with "System Cent[er|re]" :-)
