Hi Stefan,

Are there any other limitations around caching with host-named site collections that you are aware of?

I am working with a client that has blob caching disabled but is still experiencing an issue that sounds very similar to what you describe above (i.e. there are multiple two site collections with items that have the same server relative URL (e.g. items in the style library) and items are served for the wrong site collection).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Vatsa,

that will happen with manually started workflows.

To prevent this it should be sufficient to turn off "allow manual start" on the workflow association page.

Hi Stefan,

In the workflow after content/page is a approved we are publishing the page using SPFile.Publish() and it is publishing with system account. Is there any way to publish a page with user/who approves the page?

People seem to be having BIG problems with blobcache. Specifically, the Style Library seems problematic:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/607a3950-0b8a-42ed-98cf-cf47077862ce mentions that the blob cache will fail if a single site collection contains more than 10.000 items with custom ACLs.

Can you shed some light on whether this limitation still applies with SP2 + the april CU applied, and, if so, is it by design, or can a fix be expected in the future?
