Hi Etienne,

sorry, I'm not aware of this issue. Haven't found any references in current hotfix requests.

I would recommend to open a support case to get this analyzed and to ensure that you get a fix at earliest time.

Hello Stefan,

It seems there is a regression on the managed metadata service with the April 2013 CU:

Are you aware about any post CU hotfix for solving this / or workaround ?

At a client we have install this CU on our DEV / INT environment and we are stuck with the testing because of this.

Hi Rob,

March 2013 a PU has been released - no CU.

October 2012 and later CUs already include the March 2013 PU. So it makes sense that it overwrites it.

I am a big reader of your blogs. Thank you for posting!

I did have a question regarding the process of slipstreaming install media for SharePoint 2010 Server. It seems that there is an issue slipstreaming past Aug 2012 or higher CUs as they overwrite product updates for March 2012.

Any suggestions on the proper way to slipstream a "gold" install media? Just to make things a little more complex we are running office web apps and project server.

Why is SP2013 not supported on a VM that utilizes dynamic memory?

hello, I am having site with many variation. for some variation we have created the incremental job which we have scheduled daily. Also we are modifying content regulary. still after change log period, all jobs got failed saying 'change token error'. what may be reason for this?

Any help is appreaciated.

many people are experiencing verly slow /extract speeds with this CU (social.msdn.microsoft.com/.../526b02a6-1c92-4871-a0a1-8b3a8bc98866) are you seeing this?

The cab file is actually used by installing/extracing, it contains some msp files that are for some reason not in the exe file. However, you cannot slipstream this CU (or unlikely any CU until SP1) because of the dependency on the March Public Update. You need can put the PU in the Updates directory, but putting this CU there would overwrite msp files which the CU requires to be installed before in order to install. Also, extracting this update is very slow, can take from 1-2 hours..
