Today, Microsoft announced integration of Git, today’s most popular distributed version control system, into Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and Team Foundation Service giving developers more choice with its version control and ALM solutions. Additionally, Microsoft is releasing a preview of an extension for Visual Studio 2012 Update 2, which facilitates connecting to Git repositories on any Git host, including Team Foundation Service and other 3rd party services.
