Dell announces vStart 50m for Windows Server Hyper-V On Tuesday, Dell announced the release of vStart 50m, the newest offering in Dell’s vStart line and the first to support Windows Server Hyper-V. vStart 50m, a pre-built virtualization appliance, brings together Dell hardware and software with Windows Server Hyper-V, helping organizations quickly and easily achieve the benefits of virtualization and shortening the path to private cloud. Customers in the U.S. and Canada can get started today. Availability in additional countries will be announced within the next few weeks.
Virtual Machine Manager 2012 Release Candidate Available Today
We are excited to announce today that the release candidate of System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) 2012 is available at the Microsoft Download Center as a product download or a pre-configured VHD. VMM is a key component of System Center 2012, which provides a common management toolset for private and public cloud applications and services. Today Microsoft confirmed System Center 2012 will be generally available to customers in the first half of the calendar year 2012.
