Direct Edge, a New Jersey-based stock exchange, announced today its use of Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Informatica Ultra Messaging for its new trading platforms.
By building its new exchange on technology from Microsoft and Informatica, Direct Edge has reduced its latency by 83 percent, realized substantial cost savings in both operations and technology and gained 100 percent schedule uptime to date.
