Today Microsoft announced the official release-to-manufacturing of Windows Essential Business Server (EBS) 2008. EBS 2008 is part of the Windows Essential Server Solutions (WESS) family of products, which will be widely available and formally launched on November 12, 2008.

EBS 2008 is an integrated and affordable solution that offers the Microsoft software that midsize businesses require. Powered by the new Windows Server 2008 operating system, EBS 2008 combines software for management, messaging, and security features into one integrated server solution that will help customers increase the manageability and reliability of their IT systems, and boost businesses productivity and growth.
