Today, Microsoft announced the availability of service pack (SP) 1 for System Center Essentials 2007. Today’s SP1 addresses critical customer-initiated issues, including improved setup, performance, and feature enhancements, including:

·         Support for Windows Server 2008 90 days after SP1 releases

·         Improved, more resilient setup with new disaster recovery tools

·         New user interface features & console performance enhancements

Essentials 2007 is a unified IT management solution for midsized business. Customers can download the SP1 on Tech Center, here.  Additionally, when Windows Essential Business Server (WEBS) releases in the second half of 2008, customers will also find that System Center Essentials will be incorporated into that “All-in-One” solution.
