Hey all, just wanted to give you a heads up about a webcast I'll be doing on MSDN in February.  It is titled Customizing Search Results for SharePoint Server 2010.  Here is the link to find out more info and register:

The event will be on February 16th, 2010 at 1PM Pacific time.  Swing by and listen in if you get a chance.

  • Hi Steve.

Where could I get the source code, then?

  • Hi!

I would like to modify the output of the FederatedResultsWebpart, but I wonder how I can get the results data?Unlike the CoreResultsWebpart, there is no xmlResponseDoc property in the FederatedResultsWebpart class...

  • Great Webcast, Thanks.  Can I get the source code for your derived Core Results Web Part.

  • Great Webcast.  Can you upload the source code

  • Excellent presentation. Clear and simple demo's. My compliments and gratitude.

  • I know I am a year late on this webcast  but it is something I need more informaiton on. It is recorded anywhere? Also, do you have experience placing the custom search results in a CRM iframe and how you can control the column width.

Thanks for any tips you have. I have tried it on many levels and can never seem to get it to work.

  • Hi Steve, where is the code for this web part?  Thanks, -steven
