• MVPs Come Back with Their Tweaks

    Last year, Howard Lo, Regional Manager (APAC), MVP Award Program, launched Ultimate Windows Tweaker - developed by an MVP, Ramesh Kumar, and released by another MVP, Anand Khanse, on his popular Windows portal - at the South Asia MVP Open Day 2008 at Goa, India.

    After enormous success of the utility and favorable reviews all across, they are back with Ultimate Windows Tweaker v2.0.

  • Best Windows Website Contest 2009

    Like the last year, Windows Desktop Experience MVP, Anand Khanse is organizing the Best Windows Website Contest 2009 on his Windows portal, The Windows Club, to discover and to recognize some of the best Windows bloggers and website owners.

    The 10 best websites will be picked up by a panel of 10 Judges, comprising of authors, technology columnists, Microsoft employees, and few other MVPs, and put to vote by the community. The websites will be judged on content, quality, originality, continuity, presentation, and overall impression.

    The winners and early entries stand to win licenses of a whole range of software. Winning apart, this contest would provide recognition and a great opportunity for bloggers to expose and showcase their websites.   • Windows 7 Team hearts MVP

    Vasudev G, an MVP from India is much loved by the Windows product team, we reckon. After winning lot of goodies and a netbook for sharing feedback on Windows 7, he recently received few more as a thank-you gift from the Windows 7 Starter Team. These were given to the the participants for their contributions and their effort to help beta test the Windows 7 Starter Edition.

  • Helping you get on to Windows 7

    Vishal Gupta, a Windows Desktop Experience MVP from India, and owner of one of the popular Windows tips and tricks blog – AskVG, has released and app to automatically create bootable USB drive to install Windows 7 on your computer without an optical drive.

    The portable utility has been created by one of AskVG readers, and also works good for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. The application has also been featured on Microsoft’s Channel 10, a consumer-focused community.
