Today I sat the 70-243 beta exam; my impression is that the test looks very valuable and does a good job measuring the skillset required to be successful in a Configuration Manager 2012 administrative role. In the following post I will pull together some of the material covered on the test which can be used for preparation.

If you are new to Configuration Manager I recommend starting with this information.

 

The first step that we need to do is Review the Skills Measured on the test.

Exam 70-243: Administering and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager

For better outline of the materials that need to be reviewed in order to analyze the skills that will be measure on the test and the materials that we as students need to learn and make sure to understand to successfully pass the test.

Design and Plan System Center Configuration Manager Infrastructure (13%)

•Plan System Center Configuration Manager hierarchy and site system roles.

Now that we have review the skills that the test will measure, what you guys need to do is ensure that you understand all this skills and go ahead and take the test, if you don’t pass the test on the first shot not feel bad about it just remember that is a good opportunity for you to review the content of the test and come back and read or practice what you need to successfully pass the test.
