Today we are celebrating a key milestone with the latest release of Office 365, which recognizes that the modern workplace is changing; that business success is now determined by how quickly people can connect, interact and share information; and that collaboration has a real business value.
 
Employees no longer just want – they now also need - information to be available instantly from anywhere and on any device. The new Office gives them just that.
 
With this, our new and most complete Office cloud service to-date, we are also addressing the needs and budgets of small, medium and large organizations. For the first time we are offering Office as a subscription service for everyone.
 
Business users can now get the full-featured, rich Office applications they are familiar with, on up to five devices, delivered as an always-up to-date cloud service. The Office 365 service also features enhanced enterprise social capabilities with SharePoint and Yammer, as well as Lync-Skype connectivity for presence, IM, and voice by June.
 
The new Office 365 service is available today in 69 markets and 17 languages, with an additional 20 markets and 16 languages to follow in the second quarter of this year. Demand for the product is robust, making Office 365 one of the fastest growing businesses in Microsoft history, bringing real value to their business.
