Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) takes place in 120 countries from 12-18 November. Here's our pick of the 3,000+ events taking place in the UK.

12 November: UK hosts Youth Business International, in partnership with Barclays, officially launch Global Entrepreneurship Week at the Wayra Academy in London, with businesses showcased by The Prince's Charities. 

12-15 November: Young Enterprise Northern Ireland is running Tourism Industry master classes.

12-16 November: The British Library is holding events all week including webinars, the announcement of the Real Business 2012 Future 50 and ‘Inspiring Entrepreneurs’ with designer Orla Kiely.

12-16 November: Eastbourne Youth Radio has a five-day community based radio project to engage students.

12-16 November: Local young entrepreneurs and enterprising professionals will be going into 10 York secondary schools each day to run enterprise assemblies.

13-16 November: Entrepreneurs 2012 is a four-day entrepreneurial event with keynote speakers President Bill Clinton, Ruby Wax and Bear Grylls.

14 November: StartUp Britain is urging schools to share some toast and get down to business during Britain’s Biggest Breakfast Networking event and is running a StartUp Day.

14 November: Entrepreneurs Wales 2012 is a one day conference for entrepreneurs. Speakers include Julie Meyer. One of many events from the Welsh Government.

14 November: In Edinburgh the Start Up Summit shares stories of 16 entrepreneurs inc. Skyscanner.

14 November: The Ideas Café will inspire research students and postdocs at the Uni of Glasgow.

14 November: Doug Richard and School of Start-Ups are running free Window of Opportunity seminars.

14 November: 250 16-30 year old entrepreneurs will take part in Shell LiveWIRE LIVE!

14 November: As UnLtd approaches its 10th birthday, the Social Futures event will kick off a conversation about the future of support to social entrepreneurs.

14-16 November: The Enviro-Entrepreneur Bootcamp takes place at the Nottingham Clean tech Centre.

15 November: Bright Ideas Trust is holding a business readiness workshop for 16-30 year olds living in London.

15 November: The Global Brainstorm will broadcast live from a central London location; this free live brainstorming session will ask "what do you need to know in order to succeed?" 

15 November: Business Launchpad opens a new Enterprise Business Centre in Acton, Ealing.

15 November: Mosaic students meet and learn from business leaders at Business in the Community's Big Conversation as part of the Skills Show in Birmingham.

15 November: NACUE showcases university enterprise societies who have been given money from the Enterprise Society Innovation Fund, and holds the grand final of Varsity Pitch competition
