Young entrepreneurs from different corners of Europe converged on London last week to take part in a competitive event called Seedcamp. The founders, who were seeking seed funding and connections, were joined by a dazzling group of mentors, made up of fellow entrepreneurs (who have succeeded already), product, marketing and hiring experts, and corporate representatives (including Microsoft's own Lars Lindstedt).
The outcome of Seedcamp, other than the party at actor Alan Cumming's apartment, was that 36 judges/investors decided to award 50,000 Euros to 6 startups (for 10% equity in each), with the following three hailing from these shores (the UK, that is):
More information on each can be found on the excellent TechCrunch UK blog.
Perhaps you attended Seedcamp - if so, do you have any interesting stories to share? Or do you have pics from the event that you can send us?
