It’s pretty often on any version of SharePoint that someone asks the difference between the versions of SharePoint (ex: free vs. server vs. standard vs. enterprise). On Microsoft’s website for SharePoint, there is a page that displays all the features for SharePoint 2010 as they relate to each version (Foundation, Standard, Enterprise).
It’s interactive, so you can highlight each feature for further information or filter according to the realm of SharePoint that it’s in.
I would just loooove it if this were available in a printable format ... The floaty bubbles are cute and all, but I'm trying to sell the business owners, stakeholders, and sponsors on these features, and floating times 100+ bubbles is a bit much.
This link seems to be redirected now to a less useful place.
Unfortunately, unable to find this chart anymore ....
I would love to be able to still see the 2010 info now that 2013 is shipping, the link no longer works. :(
This post will help those looking for 2013 information: blogs.msdn.com/.../sharepoint-2013-2010-2007-feature-comparison.aspx
