The Authorization Manager hotfix is not required on Win2k8 R2 SP1

The Authorization Manager hotfix (KB975332)is requested but its setup is refused on a w008r2 sp1.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!

I uninstalled the Service pack, instaled the hotfix, then applyed the service pack again, everything works now.

Nice to know i can ignore the message in future deployments :)

This is a known issue. We are going to update the documentation to indicate that you can ignore this warning if you are installing on a Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 server.

Im having a problem with the installation of SCSM 2010 SP1 on a R2 SP1. It says the Authorization Manager hotfix is needed, but when i try to install the hotfix it says my system is not applicable. Is the hotfix still needed?

@CC148 - You are right. It did support Windows Server 2008 R2. We now support Windows Server 2008 R2 *SP1*.

Sorry the way I typed it out doesnt really make that clear. :)
