Any tweaks we did there were very minor. Did you make your customizations starting with SP1 in your pre-production environment?

Did you guys tweak the unsealed MPs that come with Service Manager in SP1? The reason I ask is because I (gulp) saved a lot of my customizations in those out of the box unsleaed packs. I would like to import those new packs into our SP1 prod environment, but I do not want to overwrite any tweaks you made to them in SP1... please advise! Thanks Man

Thanks, Travis. I might need to raise a case, it's unusable like this. Lucky for me it's not in production yet but we definately can't go live with it.

There's 2 or 3 people that say they've already opened cases in the forums. Probably like us, our support gets done out of China or somewhere so you probably don't even get to hear about it.

Although I have heard of a couple of customer having this issue, as far as I know it has not been filed as a case with Microsoft support. Therefore it also hasnt been escalated to the product development team. If you are experiencing this problem, please open a case with Microsoft support so we can get a closer look at what is going on. Based on that we may need to issue a fix.

Hi Travis,

I see now that a lot of people are seeing very high CPU usage on MonitoringHost.exe since the installation of SP1. When this happens, it makes SCSM unusable as workflows grind to a halt.

Is this anything going on at Microsoft with regard to getting this fixed?

Also seeing very high cpu with MonitoringHost.exe since SP1 on 2008 R2.

Is it really that hard to create a list. I'm not asking for all 500, but a top 20 would be nice. The following are still an issue after SP1. I actually can't find one thing that is fixed in SP1.

1. Scrolling and dropdowns over RDP don't function with mouse

2. Sorting by incident number is still incorrect, IR28 is before IR2

3. Alternate contact method still randomly used the SIP address instead of email

4. Console navigation performance is still sluggish at best

5. When creating a request through end-user portal, "Step" graphics don't change for step 2 and 3. Step 1 is always highlighted

6. No dashboard support for SharePoint 2010

7. High CPU on MonitoringHost.exe since SP1

Service Manager is in desperate need of enhancements. I know this is the first version, but there are some basic features missing.

Since upgrading to SP1 a couple of weeks ago, I have experienced repeated console crashes when viewing configuration items. What I mean is ... the console user interface displays an error message and then the user interface dissappears.

Is my experience isolated, or is there a known issue I should be aware of?

In the three months prior to SP1 (using RTP + CU3) I never experienced anything like this

Create Request still show step 1 regardless of the step you are on. I thought this was supposed to be fixed?
