I don't know what else to call this since this has never happened before but the “Update to Update Rollup 3” is now available. A couple of weeks ago we noticed that there was an incorrect binary version in the Update Rollup 3 package which resulted in some of the bugs that were supposed to be fixed not actually being fixed (more details here). This new version of Update Rollup 3 that is now available has the correct binaries in it. You can install this new version on top of 2012, 2012 UR1, UR2, or UR3 (original). These fixes are also included in the upcoming SP1 release.

Sorry for the confusion and hassle!
Update Dec 6, 2012: Please note that there are more steps involved in applying this update rollup than just running the .exe. Please see the instructions on the download page (link above) for more details.
Update Dec 7, 2012: If you are installing CU3 on top of 2012 RTM (not CU1, CU2, or the original CU3) then you don't need to import console.mpb It will be automatically updated to .116 version. We will be updating the installation instructions to make this more clear.
Sorry for the last update. Can the issue with the console updating be fixed in SP1? Dying with that issue.
@Rob C
Can you please explain what you mean by the "console updating" issue?
I just downloaded and ran the 64bit .exe file on my Management server( run as Admin). I noticed it updated the Console.mpb file in the service manager install directory that previously existed with the new version and also that the ....SM.UI.Console.exe app was also updated.
When I start the console and looked at the management packs I see that the Console Mp listed already is the .166 version. I did not import it yet as the instructions indicated. If I go to the about service manager pulldown it says it it version .0 not .166. If I try to import the .166 mpb I get an error that it failed because it already exists.
Has a change to the exe been made to the installer and the version splash screen just hasn't been updated and I no longer need to install the MPB? or do I need to delete the existing version and then reimport it.?
Lastly once I get past this, do I only run the install on each Analyst's PC's running the console to finish the upgrade? This will update the SM APP on their PC's..

Travis - Please take a look at the link. I opened it in case anyone might have any ideas to get around it.
Is there any fix coming for the slowness caused by Lync 2013 integration?

Thanks, I thought that is what you meant, but wanted to be sure. The engineering team is aware of this issue. I don't have any concrete plans to share yet regarding this though. Stay tuned.
Travis, do you have input on my post?
I can't import the console.mpb..
@RYSr - please see the update above re: the console.mpb. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for the update. I will stay tuned with bells on!
@ Travis
Sorry to be dense - just installed CU3. I see that the Console Mgmt pack is now at .116 so no need to import Console.mpb. But, the Help dropdown still says .0 for the version. If I go through the dialogue to import Console.mpb I'm presented with a .116 version of the Console MP (already installed) and a .116 version of the Console Help MP. Should I import the Console Help? Does it matter??
