I know this is probably old news to all of you already, but I didn’t get a chance to blog it earlier this week when it happened because I was traveling.
SCSM 2012 public beta is now released on the download center! You can get it from here:

A few important reminders:
What’s new in SCSM 2012?
Key Features in SCSM2012
The 2012 version of the GRC management pack and the management pack code named “Andes” will be available soon.
As the pre-RTM versions of each of the System Center products are releasing on slightly different schedules right now figuring out which version of each product can be connected to which version of SCSM can be a little tricky. Use this table as a guide:

** The SCOM CI connector will not work with SCOM RC due to a MP version mismatch on some of the system library MPs. If you need to get SCSM Beta working with SCOM RC please escalate through your Microsoft account team to Travis Wright. We have a manual procedure which can be followed in a lab/test environment to get this connector working.
As you can see there will be a new version of the Exchange connector. The Exchange connector 1.0 and 2.0 will not work with SCSM 2012. I will provide a new version of the Exchange connector - 3.0 Beta - in the first part of November that will work with SCSM 2012 Beta. The same is true of the Send Email solution that comes with the Exchange connector. The 3.0 version of the connector will support service requests and other work item types among some other new features and of course bug fixes. Since I am sure someone will ask… at this point it looks like the Exchange connector will continue to be an out of band solution that is not officially supported by Microsoft. We continue to evaluate ways that we can get it to a supported level.
At the same time that SCSM 2012 beta was released a couple of other releases happened :
Read the release announcement on the Microsoft Server and Cloud Platform blog:

Where/when would be able to get exchange connector 3
Will SCSM 2012 have a better support for multitenancy than SCSM 2010?
@Richard -
We haven't done anything new with respect to support for multi-tenancy. The information in this blog post still applies:
blogs.technet.com/.../does-service-manager-support-multitenancy-managed-service-providers.aspx
@Lionel -
It will be released in early November on the MS downloads site. I'll post an announcement about its availability here on the blog.
Thanks Travis. We're really looking forward to the release of the exchange connector as this is a must have add on for SCSM, especially for those of us that handle more than one customer as Microsoft partners
Hardware and set up requirements appear to be the same at SM2010. For non TAP customers, will it be possible to upgrade our SM2010 environment directly to SM2012 RTM (when it comes out) using the same hardware & user account set up? Or will we need a fresh hardware environment to install SM2012 RTM? Thanks!
@Greg -
SCSM 2010 - 2012 upgrade is an in place upgrade.
Hi there, still waiting patiently for the Exchange Connector 3.0. Any update on the release date? Thanks
Any plans for when to add official integration with TFS ?
@Rolf Kristensen -
There aren't any "official" plans right now, but you can use the CodePlex TFS integration pack and the official SCSM integration pack in Orchestrator to connect the two systems together. We're looking into making a more "official" solution here.
Do you have a final date when we are able to get a copy of the exchange connector 3.0 ?
Anybody know where to find the 3.0 connector?
EC 3.0 Beta is only available to TAP customers. I'll be putting out an RC version of the EC publicly soon.
Any idea when that EC 3.0 might be coming? We're eager to get 2012 going. Thanks!!
Do we have SCSM web based console in SCSM. means can we close,resolve and assign incident from web portal or still not
