The Security Talk Show with Tom Shinder and Yuri Diogenes started last May when we had our first guest: Jim Harrison. Throughout those months we had a great time talking to great people about Security (a list of all episodes can be found it here). To celebrate the 10th episode we would like to give you a gift as a way to thank you for your support, we know that without your audience this whole initiative will not be possible. Now you are probably asking: what about the gift? The gift is the Forefront book collection below signed by Tom Shinder and Yuri Diogenes.

To participate is simple, you just need to follow the rules below:

  • Follow us on Twitter (@tshinder and @yuridiogenes)
  • Tweet the message below:

Happy #FEEAB 10th Episode with @tshinder and @yuridiogenes, looking forward to Episode 11 <link to this post>

  • We will collect the names of all participants that tweeted this message and on Episode 11 we will announce the winner (winner will be chosen by random drawing done by our guest on Episode 11).
  • We plan to record Episode 11 in three weeks (probably November 14th), which means that this promotion will be open until November 13th.

Now that you know about that, it is time to talk about our great Episode 10!

image We received a very special guest, our friend Tim “Thor” Mullen. Tim Mullen, a Principal Security Program Manager at Microsoft Online Ad Platform Team discussed with us about cloud security and about Tim’s book: Thor’s Microsoft Security Bible. Tim gave an overview of the first three chapters of his book and explained more details about the research done in order to write this security book. You can’t miss this episode if you like security!

We hope you enjoy the show!
