So, here is a funny story.  This past fall, my team came to me and said “hey, do we want to sponsor powered by PechaKucha night at RSA Conference 2012?”  I vaguely recalled catching the tail end of this last year and asked more about it.  After a little discussion, we decided to sponsor it.  Someone pointed out that we had to fill one of the Flash Talk slots, but we said we’d figure that out later.

Later came and during our kick-off meeting in January, the team shared that not only was RSA asking for the 20x20 format (20 slides, 20 seconds per slide) – but that this year they wanted the speakers to do it as a “poetry slam.”  Wow!  I can tell you that this little aspect caused my small case of butterflies to become a huge case of stage fright!

Worse, with everything else going on at RSA, I didn’t have as much time to work on my PechaKucha presentation as I wanted, but ultimately, with a lot of help from friends, I got through it.  Special thanks to Ian, Kurt and Omar for their awesome Jazz support.
