&lt;p&gt;Set-SPManagedAccount -Identity $inputManagedAcct -ExistingPassword $inputPasswd –UseExistingPassword $true&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It works if i change it to:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Set-SPManagedAccount -Identity $inputManagedAcct -ExistingPassword $inputPasswd&lt;/p&gt;
