Any update on when the final release of SP1 will be? We really want to put a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V cluster in, but the lack of SP1 is delaying us and we need the resource to be able to migrate machines between 2008 R2 and the 2012 cluster.

@robincm2: In the Beta there is a known issue where the teamed adapter of an LBFO team is not visible in the hardware properties of the VM host, it's also not shown as a supported virtual switch. You will see this corrected when the final SP1 release is generally available.

As a workaround for the Beta you can use the virtual switch by setting the logical networks and network sites on one of the team members in the host's hardware properties. It will still say the virtual switch is not supported on the virtual switch panel, but the intelligent placement algorithm will find it and connect the VMs based on the information from the team member.

We've done additional work post beta to finish some of the missing pieces that will help tie it all together and simplify the overall experience. We're also working on expanding the content on TechNet to give you the information you need to set up your environment correctly. You'll see this when the product is generally available.

Been trying to get my head around the networking concepts in VMM SP1 beta, and despite being pretty good with physical networks and the networking within vSphere, I cannot figure out how all the different bits hang together. Plus I'm seeing some wierd behaviour where an LACP link is being replaced by individual connections to the two NICs that make up the LACP - yet the vSwitch on the Hyper-V host is still showing as connected to the LACP. But this means I can't get any networking to any VMs on the host.

I can't believe that this is really that complicated - is anyone available for some help?

These certainly look the same updates posted a month ago. And the VMM link doesn't seem to point to the right place.
