Assume that you're using an IBM Storwize V3700 device in a Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment. When you try to assign a logical unit number (LUN) to a cluster, you receive the following error message:
Error 26184 The existing storage group for null does not match the storage group for null. Make sure the storage group setting at the storage array matches the storage groups created for the cluster.
For more details in this problem and a resolution, please see the following:

how about the same error on a 3PAR 7400?
I'm also having this error on a 3PAR 7000 series array. We have a CPG (their LUN container; Microsoft's "Storage Pool") allocated to two host groups and VMM was able to create a LUN in it. However, when I try to create CSV from that LUN on one of the clusters,
I get the error you mentioned. We had no problem with the first CSV we created on this array/cluster.
Chris/Pierluigi, I am also having the same issue. Did you find a fix to this?
