Patrick Prendergast, SCVMM Program Manager
kinda out there, but could a site recovery process be created in this space? As far as I know this is the area the hyper-v(r2)/scvmm is lacking. Yes there are a couple of 3rd party processes that can do this, steeleye DR
and doubletake DR to name a couple. I'm starting to investigate these but I was just wondering!
thanks
I have been trying to understand the SCOM+VMM integration and the use of PRO. I am still not clear on the various approaches that are taken for PROtip implementation in case where the managed node has a powershell snap-in and the case where it does not have a powershell snap-in. Can you please brief me on the steps that take place in the 2 cases mentioned above. Thanks
