&lt;p&gt;in Active directory users and groups &amp;gt; SBSUsers OU.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;remove the following group&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;WinRMRemoteWMIUsers__&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Uninstall the update and that should successfully remove the update.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\ForwardedEvents&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and because this key is now missing you will see errors when attempting to view certain event logs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Come on Microsoft. &amp;nbsp; You&amp;#39;ve really got to do a better job of vetting these updates before release. &amp;nbsp;Realistically, this never should have see daylight. &amp;nbsp;It brings nothing good to the table and breaks a lot of systems. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Imagine the wasted person hours picking up the pieces after this one. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;:(&lt;/p&gt;
