Sean Daniel has been a program manager for Small Business Server since SBS 2000. In this video he tells us a little bit about what's new in Small Business Server 2008 and shows us a demo of the SBS 2008 console. He also describes the backup wizard and he shows us how much backup has evolved in SBS 2008.
I wonder when SBS 2008 will be released as a beta to Microsoft Partners. Is it in the April Action Pack kit maybe?

I like how the backup solution is no longer tape. However, I have a couple questions. If you have two portable hard drives that you swap, how will the SBS backup detect the drive that you didn't have hooked up during the setup. Do they both need to be hooked up and selected? Do both drives need to be the same type and manufacturer?
It is interesting that improved backup is touted as one of the great new things. As a users of SBS2003 we are seeing the daily barrage of errors associated with backup. How about fixing what is already out there?
