DPM 2007 SP1 setup - Reports not working

Issue: When you click on Reporting tab you will get the following error message: "DPM could not connect to SQL Server Reporting Services Server because of IIS connectivity issues"

Solution / workaround: I was recently working on one of my deployment cases and we saw one issue in the DPM environment. When we selected the Reporting tab, we got “"DPM could not connect to SQL Server Reporting Services Server because of IIS connectivity issues" error. Performed the following steps -

1. Open IIS Manager.

2. Expand Default Web Site, and then select the virtual directory for the report server

3. Under Features View, double-click Handler Mappings

4. Under Actions, click Edit Handler Permissions

5. Click to select the Scripts check box

6. Click OK.

Restarted IIS, re-open the DPM management console and open the Reporting  tab.

Wallah…it works :)
