In case you are wondering why the blog page has been a little more quiet then usual – I just returned to Ottawa this week. I was on a "new employee MS101” course in Redmond. WOW! The Mother Ship! Here’s an interesting tidbit – over 60% of the participants were NOT from the US (myself included). The new hires were from all sorts of different job functions that spanned the globe! It has been quite honestly the best orientation course for any company I have worked for in the past. FANTASTIC!
What I wanted to share with you is the validation of something I already knew. Microsoft is committed to engaging the IT Pro community in Canada (and the world). We’re in this for the long haul. I firmly believe this is NOT a short term thing, marketing gimmick or flavour of the month. All the presenters (and executives) that came to talk with us had some part of their message geared towards developing long term relationships with your clients, customers and community.
I wanted to let you know that the Canadian IT Pro team (myself included) is committed to developing long term relationships with the IT Pro Community across Canada.
