The KB 931125 package that was posted to Windows Update and WSUS on December 11, 2012, was intended only for client SKUs. However, the package was also offered for server SKUs. Because some customers reported issues after they installed the package on servers, the KB 931125 updates for server SKUs were expired from Windows Update and WSUS. We recommend that you sync your WSUS server and approve the expiry.
If you have already applied the update on a server and are encountering issues, you should use the Fix It solution in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
2801679 - SSL/TLS communication problems after you install KB 931125
The KB hyperlink in the first paragrsph leads to nothing.
My bad. Updated
So, now, what do we do regarding the update for workstations? We are left without an update package as the March 2014 superseded the November 2013 Root certificates update. I fail to find any information regarding "the next steps" for workstations.
Ditto what HW has said above. How are we now meant to update root certificates on workstations? This article raises more questions and answers...
I have an issue with all Microsoft certificate like outlook.com channel9 and more ...
When i restart my computer it's fine for a moment but after some delay the issue come over
I check the clock of my computer it's ok.
I check the validity of certificate it's ok.
And when i try to connect one of the microsoft sites the browser give no error but just time out, despite that the site is not down.
Is it related to this fix ??!!
So how do I install the update to a workstation when the update won't download from wsus to the workstation.
