Microsoft DNS (Domain Name System) Model for Microsoft Baseline Configuration Analyzer 2.0

The Microsoft DNS team just released the "DNS Model for the MBCA 2.0".

Windows Server 2008 did not have an in-box BPA(Best Practice Analyzer) so MS created an OOB tool called MBCA. MBCA helps Administrators maintain optimal system configuration by analyzing their computers against a set of DNS best practices defined in the DNS Model.

MBCA 2.0 can be downloaded from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=1b6e9026-f505-403e-84c3-a5dea704ec67

This DNS Model can be run on any Windows Server 2008 server(en-us) DNS server and checks for common DNS mis-configuration issues.

thanks,
