I am missing a few blog posts from the last couple of weeks, but on the plus side I have been in the thick of the action. I posted some time ago information about a tour we were about to undertake to meet partners across the UK to show Exchange, Vista and Office. This is something new for Microsoft when presenting to partners because we are not actually delivering a PowerPoint presentation. If you are thinking about attending one of these events, then great, but don’t expect to be bored to death with the usual barrage of PowerPoint slides. Instead be prepared to see over an hour of high impact demonstrations on how these technologies can enable a people ready business.
Birmingham, Reading and Manchester have already had events take place. Today we were in Bristol and presented in a Cinema room in preparation for the upcoming Cinema Tour. On hand to help out was Ray the onsite AV guy, who to be fair was a complete and total professional. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he ensured we could show Exchange, Vista and Office in there full splendour.
The picture you can see shows how a Cinema experience looks and features my colleague Matt who delivered a blinding demonstration of Vista. You may know Matt from his excellent blog ‘This is Vista – Time to get Vistafied’.
Well that’s all for now. I’ll be in London tomorrow in the next of our Roadshow events and look forward to seeing more partners at our Business Evolution Cinema Roadshow in December. Places are still available but are being filled fast. Book now to avoid being disappointed! Click here to register.
Not to be left out the cold by the recent Office 2007 and Vista RTM announcements, Exchange 2007 is hot
