Today Microsoft announced the general availability of Windows Azure HDInsight with support for Hadoop 2.2.
HDInsight is Microsoft’s 100 percent Apache Hadoop-based distribution for Windows Azure. It allows customers to dynamically provision Hadoop clusters to process data, revealing new insights and supporting better decision making.
