  • Nice post

  • Hello together,

I'v just tested your script and it works pretty good on Windows 8. Then I tried it on a Windows 8.1 Pro Preview Client and it doesn't seem to work any longer.

The Import as a module works and if I run the command "Set-OSCPin" I get the result "Pin ... to the start menu successfully". But i f I look at the Screen the tile doesnt appear on the start Screen.

  • Does anybody have a fix to make it work unter Windows 8.1?

  • Sorry but this doesn't work at all in windows 8.1. My experience is exactly the same as AlexH. I ran it from the debugger and found that the verbs found by the com object do NOT include "Pin To Start" any more! Right clicking on the tile shows it but that verb is removed when the script tries to find it using the com object.
