Non-Security Updates
In my testing of these patches (have installed on two seperate test farms) I have noticed that KB2596663, KB2596942, and KB2596911 all run PSCONFIG during the install.
So far I have not noticed any issues caused by this, however is this suppose to happen, or is there a way to prevent PSCONFIG from running automatically?
Will this cause any issues in a multi-server farm if psconfig runs and completes on a server before the binaries are installed on other servers in the farm?
In all the updates I have applied previously this has never happened, and I have always run PSCONFIG on the servers in the farm after the binary updates have been completed as per technet article technet.microsoft.com/.../cc263467(office.12).aspx
@Jeremy
Yes, there was an issue with these updates running PSConfig without user interaction. In the latest update MS12-066 this issue has fixed. PSConfig will no longer run in the background without user interaction.
