An bhfuil aon Ghaeilge agat? Or do you speak any Irish? If you do read on....

The Office 2010 Language Interface Pack for Irish is now available on the web.

You can find it by clicking on this link.

This Office Language Interface Pack allows you to change your User Interface to Irish in the following Office 2010 applications: Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. It also allows you to use the Irish spell checker.

  • Congratulations and thanks. I am myself a frequent user of Office and Windows in Irish.

If you don't mind a small nag, you have a spelling mistake in your question. It should be:

    An bhfuil aon Ghaeilge agat?

The word 'aon', meaning 'any', puts a soft mutation on the word that follows it, turning it from 'Gaeilge' to 'Ghaeilge'.

  • Hi Qutus,

Any chance you know when (if) the Irish Lanaguage Pack for SharePoint 2010 will be released?

I can only find the 2007 one and all articles i found make me believe it is not yet on the schedule.

    Go raibh maith agat.

  • Hi The legend 7,

The Sharepoint 2010 language pack for Irish is planned for release. I cannot divulge the exact release date but expect it early 2012. If I remember I will post it up on this blog when it does release.
