Yes, no error there, a FREE VDI assessment tool from Quest in the form on an appliance that can be downloaded and can scan your estate hunting out candidates for desktop virtualisation.

From the Quest website: -

So Quest have aquired the code from Liquidware Labs and provide it as a VMware (tut) virtual machine

Be aware however

  • This product is freeware and is not supported by Quest Software technical support. Community support is available on the community page
  • Your download includes a key that is valid for 45 days. To continue using the tool after the key expires, you must contact your Quest Software account representative for a new key to preserve your data. If you choose to download and install the product again, your data will be lost.
  • Supports unlimited users
  • No restrictions on functionality
