&lt;p&gt;Great comment. I wish I read it sooner as I on friday deployed Lync on Srv 2008 R2 SP1. I solved the problem by installing Desktop Experience feature. Do you think I should reinstall the server or perhaps remote that feature and solv it your way?&lt;/p&gt;
