Surgeons at St Thomas' hospital in London have begun trialing a Kinect system to enable gesture and voice navigation of medical images during vascular surgery procedures.

Kinect is being used in many places I never envisaged it would be. Some of the most remarkable, and humbling uses, are in classroms helping autistic students. USA Today reports on a few such cases.
