I’m not making it to London for the Olympics this summer (something I’m actually pleased about) but I will be following the Games closely – on TV and on my Windows Phone courtesy of the Official London 2012 Results app.
The app is free in the Windows Phone Marketplace and provides all the latest news, schedules and results for all Olympic sports and Paralympic sports. The app provides results, live updates, calendar schedule, details of sports, medal tables and athlete profiles.
Game on.

Glad you added the link! there were tons of apps and while most were obviously not the official one, I really didn't want to have to load the others to check. Not super into it but I think I'll try to follow it a bit more this year.
We have created a another beautiful app for Windows Phone in Metro style called "Olympic Flow" to deliver a continuous picture news feed from various news sources, facebook, blogs and videos like Youtube. In this beautiful designed Metro app you can scroll endlessly through more than 15000 items, or use the search functionality. This is probably the only Olympics app that offers search and tag filtering. You can also enable the live tile with new pictures for to indicate content updates. App highights are big content database with large pictures and fast scrolling through all content without.
