I wanted to resurface a continuing support issue with deployments that I first commented on back in December of 2009, and again in a March post . We don't have symantec antivirus on the server. I looked really hard and found this -

Disable "Large Send Offload" ipv4 and ipv6 on the virtual network adapter.

It seems to be working for me, though I won't feel right for a few days. Our server is a windows 2008R2 virtual machine. I can't claim to know if this will work on a non-virtual system.

So we have to address the issue on just one of our servers which is under Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.2000

I fixed the link you point out to what Robert originally intended, and also modified the first sentence in the Solution section to remove the version information from there, as it is clarified later. Robert confirms that Symantec Corporate Antivirus 10.2 does not exhibit the behavior.

Could you please add some info on Symantec Antivirus 10.2 (btw, link to it leads to file:/// not web server)?

We use both Symantec Antivirus 10.2 and Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 on our servers. But nor in Symantec Knowledge Base article, nor Microsoft KB articles Symantec Antivirus 10.2 doesn't mentioned at all, perhaps, because that version is discontinued. I'm not really sure if we have to patch it too.

You mentioned versions prior to 10.2 which means that 10.0, 10.1 have that problem, but not 10.2, doesn't it? If I'm wrong with that assumption, please, if you can, provide 10.2 build and pack level where problem is solved.

Thank you.
