We’re happy to announce that WMS 2012 UR1 has been signed off. We recommend that all customers apply this as it has some changes that increase general system stability. But most importantly it adds support for USB-Over-Ethernet Zero clients.
UR1 will soon appear as Windows Update but, it is available now from the Download Center.
Evaluation WMS 2012 Zero Client drivers are available for download from the MultiPoint Server Connect Site.
Please see our blog post for an overview of WMS 2012 Zero Client Solutions and which drivers are appropriate for your zero client device.
Nice post
Hi, after applying the rollup and T200 drivers my T200 zero clients work very well. However it appears the Multipoint Dashboard has dissapeared... Any idea about that?
I found the dashboard. Its icon dissapeared from Start, also searching by names like Multipoint or Dashboard fails finding it. However it can be recovered by searching WmsDashboard, pin it back to Start menu and (I still search how to rename it...)
Hi Richard. Sorry to hear you are having problems. So you are saying the dashboard shortcut on the start menu disappears after installing the zero client drivers? Which ones in particular and I will forward internally. Thanks.
Hello, I am having problems with the drivers (Using Wyse E02), where can I provide feedback about them?
Hello rrecinos,
I think your best solution would be to post your issue in the forums here social.technet.microsoft.com/.../threads. Include repro steps and the issue you are seeing and the version of drivers you have. Thanks.
Richard,
I am not sure what happened with Multipoint Dashboard disappearing from your start screen. Seems like you have got it back. From your post I suspect it is appearing as wmsdashboard on the start screen. To rename it, look in c:\users\administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. you should see the wmsdashboard shortcut you added. From Explorer, rename it to what you want. e.g. back to the original shortcut name of MultiPoint Dashboard.
