Nick Johnson - Microsoft US Partner Technology Strategist for Microsoft Azureby Nick Johnson, PMP – Partner Technology Strategist for Microsoft Azure

One of the valuable resources we have for partners is technical communities. These are great places to interact. You can ask each other (and Microsoft subject-matter experts) questions, share useful information, and in general be reminded that none of us is alone as we make the exciting journey to becoming cloud-focused businesses.

To help you on your journey, the US Partner Team has established two Partner Technical Communities, for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365. Led by National Partner Technology Strategists (PTS), Partner Technical Community activities include blog posts, discussions on Yammer, and community calls.

Ok – now that introductions have been made, let’s jump into this month’s Azure theme. Drumroll, please…it’s Enterprise Mobility Suite!

First, what is Enterprise Mobility Suite, also known as EMS? If you don’t know, take a couple of minutes to watch this video. Listen for familiar themes that you have probably heard from customers.

Enterprise Mobility Suite is the comprehensive cloud solution to address your customers’ consumerization of IT, BYOD, and SaaS challenges. The suite is the most cost effective way for customers to acquire all of the included cloud services:

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium
  • Windows Intune
  • Microsoft Azure Rights Management

Throughout September, we’re going to go deeper on each of these services here on the US Partner Community blog, in the Azure Partners group on Yammer, and on our community call on September 18. You can get started today by downloading the Enterprise Mobility white paper. And if you are eager to try EMS yourself, you can evaluate the EMS services.

The US Partner Team is excited about the business opportunities EMS will present for partners, and we’re looking forward to your participation in our US Azure Partner Technical Community!
